My new favorite Raspberry Pi 4 case: Poly+
The Argon40 Poly+ Raspberry Pi 4 Case with PWM controllable fan and heatsink is my new favorite Raspberry Pi 4 case. The unit is sturdy, the heatsink was even beefier than I expected, and the installation/setup was a breeze with a single line of code in /boot/config.txt.
My only two nits:
- The fan comes with three settings (on, off, and PWM) but is shipped in the "off" setting...why on earth would someone buy it and not plan on using the fan? It's simple to switch it to on or PWM but a strange default.
- There are no holes in the middle plastic support structure above the other non-CPU primary chips (SDRAM, Ethernet, and USB Controller) which are typically included in heatsink kits so cooling is less direct in this setup. That said, independent reviews infer this isn't really an issue.
The case costs $10.
