USB bootable antivirus scanner
A lot of USB bootable antivirus tools have been discontinued, leaving users with limited options. After testing most out there, I found UALinux RescuePack to work the best. You can download it here and prepare a bootable USB using Rufus. They're not a familiar name in the U.S. but are a silver partner with the reputable company Proxmox, vouching for their authenticity. RescuePack includes a variety of security scanning tools, including Vba32 (which famously discovered Stuxnet in 2010) and BitDefender (which has excellent malware detection).
P.S. Before booting RescuePack, make sure to disable BitLocker (takes a while to complete) and reboot into Windows to verify it has been fully disabled.
P.P.S. Vba32 will run in "demo mode", but that just means it will only update once - which is all you need to find and clean the latest threats.
