Set brave-browser as default browser in Lubuntu 19.04
I love Brave but on Lubuntu it wasn't registering as the default browser. After some searching, I found two edits that needed to be made:
1. Start > Preferences > LXQt settings > Session Settings > Default Applications --> set Web Browser to brave-browser
2. Run these commands in a terminal:
xdg-mime default brave-browser.desktop text/html
xdg-mime default brave-browser.desktop x-scheme-handler/http
xdg-mime default brave-browser.desktop x-scheme-handler/https
xdg-mime default brave-browser.desktop x-scheme-handler/about
Logout and back into to your computer. Enjoy!
